I collect personal information in order to provide you with therapy, coaching, scheduling, payment processing, and to improve my services. The types of information I collect include:

• Your name, email address, phone number, mailing address (if applicable)

• Appointment and payment details

• Health and mental‑health history as part of intake forms (for therapy services)

• Contact and billing information

• Communications you send via contact forms, email, live chat, or other channels

 

b. Automatically collected information:

• IP address, browser type, operating system, referral source, pages visited on the Site

• Cookies and similar tracking technologies for site functionality, analytics, and marketing

 

c. Payment processing information:

• Payment card details are processed via third‑party payment processors (I do not store full credit‑card numbers on the Site)

• Billing information including name, address, transaction date and amount

• To send you marketing, newsletters or promotional materials (only if you opt‑in)

4. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

Your information will not be sold to third parties. I may share your information under the following circumstances:

• With service providers (e.g., payment processors, website hosting, analytics providers) who assist me in operating the Site and providing services; these providers are contractually obligated to protect your data

• For therapy services: your PHI is withheld unless you authorize disclosure or exception under law (e.g., emergencies) — see separate Notice of Privacy Practices

If you are a resident of California, you have certain rights under the CCPA/CPRA. These rights include:

• The right to request deletion of your personal information (subject to exceptions). 

• The right to correct or update inaccurate personal information.

• The right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (I do not share or sale any of your personal information)

• The right to non‑discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

• The right to limit use of your sensitive personal information.

Requests must provide sufficient information to identify you and specify what right you are exercising. I will verify your identity and respond in accordance with applicable law.

6. Data Security and Retention

I maintain commercial‑grade security measures to safeguard your personal information (encryption of communication, secure servers, password‑protected access). However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, please contact me.

I retain your personal and therapy records for the period required by California law and professional standards. For therapy services, I follow the record‑keeping requirements for California LMFTs. If you discontinue services, I will retain records securely for as long as required, then delete or archive them in a secure manner.

7. Minors’ Data

The Site is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If I learn I have collected such information, I will delete it. If you are a minor and you are a California resident, you may only use the Site with parental/guardian consent in accordance with CPRA.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking tools to monitor user activity, enhance site functionality, and support analytics and marketing. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though certain site features may not work properly.  This site uses pages such as Thank You after download to track opt-ins and confirm delivery of digital goods.

The Site may contain links to third‑party websites, tools or payment processors. These external sites have their own policies and practices, and I am not responsible for their handling of your information. Please review their privacy policies before interacting.

If personal information is transferred to servers or service providers outside your country of residence, I will ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (e.g., contracts with providers, standard data‑protection clauses).

I may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in business practices, laws or regulatory requirements. I will post the updated version on the Site with a new “Last Updated” date. If changes are significant, I will notify you by email or prominent notice on the Site.

13. California “Shine the Light” Disclosure

If you are a California resident and the Site shared your personal information with third‑party marketers for their own direct‑marketing purposes in the past year, you may request a list of those categories of information and the names and addresses of those third parties. You may make this “Shine the Light” request by contacting me at the details above.

As a licensed mental‑health professional in California, I am required to protect the confidentiality of your therapy records. If you engage in therapy services, certain federal and state law protections apply (e.g., HIPAA, California CMIA).
